Should Road Safety Signs be Torn Down?

The 2026 Road Committee debated the location and content of 42 road safety signs that the 2025 GLA Board approved and installed. They planned to replace faded signs and install more this year. The 2026 Road Committee approved the removal of STOP signs at intersections and declared that several created unsafe driving conditions. One member said that travel was at everyone's own risk because the roads were private. What do you think?

Website Maintenance or a New Website?

The 2025 GLA website is full-featured and works well. A contractor offered to post minutes, perform routine maintenance, and update the site for $40.00 an hour or approximately $1,500.00 a year. The 2026 Board decided to build a new website and have it maintained by a volunteer board member. The 2026 site lacks PayPal and many other interactive amenities. What do you think?

Should Assessments be Increased?

In 2026 Assessments were not increased, but inflation was 2.7%. Our road maintenance costs continue to increase faster than inflation. Assessments can be raised a maximum of 10% per year. What do you think?
